A list of sites for free e-books is below. These can all be used independently. I do also have a list available of sites that should be used with supervision (as there are books intended for adult readers as well). If you would like to have the complete list, please e-mail Ms. Carter.
FOR INDEPENDENT USE:
NC Kids Digital Library https://nckids.overdrive.com/
Offered through the public libraries of NC for students -- thousands of ebooks and audiobooks available. You will need to choose the Iredell County Public Library on the drop down menu, and then your student number will allow you to check out e-books and audiobooks online

Common Sense Media is a great non-profit resource for parents to use when they want to stay up-to-date on which movies, TV shows, games, websites, books and apps are appropriate for their kids. There are a number of good articles about topics such as online safety, screen time, social networks, etc.
