Class Activities
The library here at Woodland Heights Elementary is
a place for work, play, discovery, thinking and growth.
I hope you will find it to be a welcoming space
where you can feel at home during the school day!
Dear Parents,
The human brain is predisposed to enjoy stories. Stories are how we make sense of the world, share our values and culture, and pass on information.
Ask your students about what we've read in Media classes, and take the time to read to and with them at home (even the big kids!). You will both benefit from the time spent together with a book!
Sincerely,
Ms. Carter
